Shirley Chung is an experienced visual (digital and traditional media) and performance artist for over 30 years. Nature and the love of animals inspire her loose energetic lines, explorations in texture, color palette, and studies of light and shadows.
Shirley embraces the Japanese concept of “wabi-sabi” which accepts/celebrates the individuality of imperfections, and the incomplete transient nature of things.
Surf Snow and Sky is about sustainable living, the beach life, good friends, and laughing sideways & upside down. Shirley loves making people smile and surprising people with random acts of kindness.
